About Shoppage
Shoppage is South Africa's community search engine and open marketplace, connecting independent makers, artisans, local workshops, and neighborhood shops directly with buyers.
Our Mission
Shoppage was built to give independent businesses the digital tools they need to compete on equal footing with global retail giants, without exploitative commission fees or opaque algorithms. We believe in direct, transparent commerce between real people.
How Shoppage Works
- 0% Platform Commission: We do not take a percentage cut of your sales. Shops keep 100% of their earnings.
- Direct Contact: Shoppers and sellers communicate directly via on-platform messaging and WhatsApp.
- Buyer Requests: Shoppers post what they need, and verified local suppliers and artisans reply with custom quotes.
- Local Focus: Search products, services, and markets near you with distance-based discovery.
